OK guys here goes nothing.
After inspecting about a half dozen of each side Steel brigades I've noticed that POC SBs are quit clean and not a rugged looking. As where the 30th the washes vary .. No two Steel brigades are the same .. anyone notice this or am I going crazy? The wash on the 30th SB arm is a bit dingier POC version clean as a whistle Ok I am not gonna post every single one i came across but you get the picture. Now I don't care about variants much nor do i care to sell what I've already bought but just for S&Gs lets see your Steel brigades. |

Every 30th one I have seen looks dirty as hell, but some do look slightly dirtier than others.
Quite frankly, I hate it. I hate it worse than the Iron Grenadiers not having their camo, honestly. I've probably run into 8 Steel Brigades since 30th hit in my area and I haven't bought a single one just because they would look out of place with my 5 clean ones. |

I have 4 of the 30th ones, but I don't have any of the POC ones to compare them to. I've never seen any the POC ones in stores.
As far as the 30th ones go I haven't opened any as of yet, but I can tell that their lower arms look very dirty. I think that I would have prefered the clean POC ones instead. Actually I wish Hasbro would have made them using 25th parts so they looked like the ARAH versions.

I have PoC and 30th ones...they're all the same. Same gear, same dusty/dirty arms.

I've got both and they look near identical to me (or as close to identical as two factory made figures with paint washes can look), they are even packaged in the same configuration. I think you may just be seeing differences in them because you want to. ;-)

I have more 30th than POC, but one of them (I forget which) seems to have a dirtier wash on it than the other.

I believe the Star Wars TAC Galactic Marines had a similar thing going on where it seemed like each trooper had a different wash to it. I haven't looked at a bunch of SBs together to tell the difference, but I think it's a good idea. It makes more sense than having multiples of the same trooper with the exact same dirt splatter on them.

The 30th SBs are a lot dirtier than the POC SBs.
I noticed that first off. I need more POC SBs.
