Winner of "Be Your Own GI Joe SDCC Hasbro Contest"

I mentioned to a rep on the floor how it would be cool if Hasbro pulled a little PR campaign where family and friends of people in the armed services could get figures for them once they returned from overseas. Rather than to turn a profit allow people to make a donation of $50 to some hasbro/vet charity to get a figure. It would be great to get figures of everyone in my friends entire unit. They have been to IRAQ and are now in Afghanistan.

Just IMO Hasbro couldn't or wouldn't go for that, just for that reason.

Great Idea I wonder If you could get a band of customizers to help you out?

I think the real interesting part of the whole contest was the scanning process. I've included some more pictures to show how they did it.

And here is a link to a video that demonstrates how Hasbro could get a 3D model from a single 2D image.

I have my picture all set for an army of Crimson Guard clones!!!
