I'm a Joe fan, not just an '85, '87 or whatever fan. That means that as long as they're well made and compatible with each other, I'll keep buying the figures that Hasbro put out. And that definately includes Movie characters.
I welcome the remaining waves and what lies beyond...

I have a feeling that most anything made for the movie figures could be pretty easily redecoed into classic figures - same with the vehicles. So, blessing in disguise, even if you don't end up liking the movie figures.

Although they may focus on movie figures, didn't it say that they were also integrating a Resolute line? Chances are they will do something off the comic book as well. Give them a chance - they are trying to rebuild the brand(although we don't see the need). Bottom line is that all those kids buying Ben 10 or WWE figures should be buying Joes. Apparently Hasbro may think the brand needs an update. But maybe they just need to get more product to the retail stores...

I have a feeling when they do go to the movie line, they may start skimping more on the quality. Comic packs/DVD packs seem cheaper quality than single packs, and I suspect that will become the standard as it will raise their profit margins. Hopefully they will keep some portion of it higher quality.

I think you're missing a few Cobra Commander, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow and Dukes. Plus a few other blatant repaints such as Python Viper.

I do hope we get a classic style RipCord before the movie...

yeah Destro's and Cobra Trooper with brown gun. Cobra trooper with white dot on helmet. Cobra trooper with stalker head.
