Even though I didn't think I would, I really liked the 2 cartoon DVD packs I got. What I was wondering was would anyone like to see more of them beyond the "best of" pack.

Getting to see your favorite Joes in their animated style colors seems good to me, and they could keep doing DVDs with random, fan picked episodes.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Outside of the mini-series, it will be hard to pair a set of figures with a collection of episodes, and that's part of the draw of those packs. Though considering the $20 price point is a hell of a lot lower than it would cost even with just the 3 or 4 figures each, it'd be hard to say no.

Regardless, I'd prefer they actually release the season sets rather than random sets of episodes.

i would certainly continue to buy dvd sets even if they were reduced to single key episodes with say 2 figures in cartoon style. it would certainly be better than the comic packs.

i agree with Botticus; i want to see season sets...or even 1/2 season as long as they were released in order, and at a good QUANTITY so stores actually HAVE THEM IN STOCK. enough of this 4 per case/2 of each.....

So many characters look different in the cartoon it would cool to get them like that. Certain guys like Ace, Steeler, Cover Girl, Flint, Mutt, Duke, Firefly, Grunt, Spirit, and others look different enough that it could be cool to re-do some of them. (and guys like Grunt & Steeler are begging to be re-done!)

It would also be cool to see some cartoon exclusives be done like Sparks, Cnl. Sharpe, and Honda Lou West.

It would also be a good excuse to give us guys like Ripcord, Recondo, ANY Cover Girl, Lifeline, Dial-Tone, Sci-Fi, Low Light, and countless others we want. Just throw them in with 2 or 3 repaints like they've been doing and we'll buy them.

I can come up with some good DVD set ideas
- G.I. Joe the Movie : Jinx, Sgt Slaughter, Golobulus, Pythona
- Dragonfire : Scoop, Snake Cobra Commander(W/ Mini snake), Leather Neck, AlleyViper
- Greatist Hits Vol 2 : Springfield Shipwreck, Dr Mindbender, that fish woman Shipwreck had the hots for, Lifeline

theres 3. prolly do some more greatest hits from that. heck, they could do a...*Crings a little* GIJoe extreme set?
Actually if they do a Joe set that isnt strickly Joe VS Cobra, and since he's coming in Wave 11, I'll go ahead and make a M.A.S.K. DVD Set!

Regardless of what I said above, I would so buy such a set.

I challenge them to put together a good Dr. Cassals (sp?), Baroness in disguise, even though Revenge of Cobra is already out.
