UPC works, but yeah, TRU also has the 6-digit SKN number. Which is what we usually use to identify product, but when that doesn't work, UPC is just fine.

That's correct. The UPC is connected to an SKN number. Most assortments have the same SKN for each successive wave, for example (and to the best of my knowledge) all the single card Joes at TRU have the same SKN. The SKN that TRU uses encompasses the whole assortment, it won't differ for individual characters, thus Wild Bill and Hawk will have the same SKN, but their UPC will be different. This should be the same for the Battle Packs. Not sure what the Battle Pack SKN is, but the single card SKN is 886790.

What he said. I feel that system is a little "meh", but what are you going to do....

By the way, the Battle Pack SKN is 934065. If it is indeed the same as the new ones, it won't make much difference to know the SKN.

Hmmm well my TRU won't take the UPC number only the SKN.

I'm not even sure if the original preorders have/will be filled from the website. For all the talk, I haven't read of anyone getting there Feb 11 orders filled.

Last I heard, all our pre-orders online were axed, including mine. Double rats on that stock number, I was hoping to have something there. Too bad it won't help us much. Hm.. back to the drawing board.

I'm already po'd at this whole thing because getting them online meant NO HUNTING! Now I've gotta think about finding them. It didn't matter as much when I was living in a big city, many options for TRU's but now it's miles from home to go and find nothing. Oh well. I hope they end up like the first wave of 5pks, warming shelves everywhere. I don't mind missing the CGs since it's a repack, but I'd like the greenshirts. We'll see what happens.

Yeah, with any luck, they'll be collecting dust at the websites warehouse once this is said and done. Honestly, though, much like the Target jets, I don't think the "Mass Release" has hit yet.
