I still reckon the (very awesome) Matt Trakker figure is a back-door pilot for a MASK line.
As for another character doing a cameo from a different line, I'd quite like Leoric or Darkstorm from Visionaries. But they'd be impossible to justify in the GI Joe line, story-wise.
Jem would be pretty hilarious (and cool) though. The perfect deep cover agent. Or something.
Some of the Transformers human characters would be good as well, especially Marissa Fairborne.
Really, the emergence of the new 3 3/4" Marvel line lends creedance to all these rumours and hopes.

I think it is a good idea to "test the water" if you will. If these take off then they have their own spin off line. And whats the harm? I mean if you don't like it leave it on the pegs.

... colonial marines from Aliens... WE HAVE A WINNER!!!! A much better chance of getting them than those $150 Hot Toys 12" figures. I will take back all I said about crossovers if they did that. Yeah, I know, I'm easily swayed...just don't package them as Joes, sell them as Aliens toys. Problem solved!

How about a figure from movie "BLUE THUNDER" I saw the Steeler figure and his face resembles Roy Schieder's only he needs a Flint new style uniform without those damn duke arms; the only other one I can think of is using a snake eyes body from 82 style and make a Chief Brody from JAWS.
