Speaking of things from the past, can I get some gold chainz? There are are a lot of fools to pity in this thread.

There are quite a few threads that mirror the sentiments expressed here- and a surprising number of naysayers have changed their minds. MeLikeJinx, for example, can be found in both the Marvel Legends and Classified threads over on another board (assuming they're the same person, of course).
I myself was dead against non-1/18 Joes until Commando Snake Eyes and Heavy Artillery Roadblock were released, and part of that change in mindset was eased by having jumped feet first into Marvel Legends a year ago... I always like seeing these past perspectives, and reflecting on how one's views and tastes can change over the years.

Sometimes necro-threads are cool for two reasons:
1). Looking at all the banned! LOL I was a lurker back then because I mostly posted at another, long dead board, and I remember a lot of them. It's a good reminder this hobby has always been full of childish shitheads. If anything, it's gotten better in that regard. 2). Just noting the changes in attutudes and etc, as Satan said. For the record, I still have no need or love for 6" figures. Fuck 'em.
