Instead of a new line. How about these Figurerise kits that you build into a highly poseable figure. They're about 8 to 9 inches tall. I don't want another figure line, but something special like these. One or two of these a year would be cool.

I like Joes because they are small, and a lot of things can be "Joe-fied", like other vehicles, weapons, and sets. They aren't too tiny or too large. 7 inch figures cost too much to do all of nothing and they take up space.
I seriously tossed my Halo, Spawn, DCU, and various other figures at some kid. He had Kratos beating the snot out of Skeletor, so I was a bit proud of the little bastard. |

that's insane. i don't really more than glance at dcu stuff, but that seems absurd for mass market retail 7" figures.

The only way I'd probably get into a line like that is if the line were announced as officially limited to a "Top 20" type Hall of Heroes line. Something to where I could feel like I could collect them all like the 25th Anniversary HOH.

I'd buy them. I would buy S6 if they started reproducing them. Hell, I look for "new" ones I don't have at every Con I go to. However, the DC line is quite expensive (not sure what S6 went for at retail) and the figures come with very limited accessories if any. That is a major contrast to the S6 figures which came with a bunch of killer stuff - which is one of the reasons I (and my son) like them so much. Those adventure sets with the animals are fricken killer (I'd pay $20-$25 for them).

I hate this idea. 7" stuff is garbage.

6+ inch toys are teh suxx because...
1. it's difficult to store since it'll eat up alot of space. 2. it doesn't have a vehicle nor a playset that is 6+ inch scale compatible 3. Marauders don't/won't produce 6+ inch scale weapons 4. PTE, Chap Mei and other cheap China made plastic toys don't won't produce vehicles and/or playsets that is 6+ inch scale compatible. 5. those buggers will just eat up space on my display cabinet Quote:
