I would buy a larger detailed Joe line, but I was pretty shocked a few weeks ago when I noticed the DC line and the price, yeah they look good but damn, that is expensive for kids, obviously they are for adults only.

i think it would be pretty cool. I wouldn't buy many of them at that price, but I would pick up the major players (Snake-Eyes, Destro, etc) But I can tell you if distribution was anything like the DCU I wouldn't even bother with it-way too frustrating to get into a line and have no chance of finding most of them at retail :(

Yeah, if the stores see how a 4 inch line at $6.97 doesn't sell then they aren't going to make tons of room for an even more expensive line.
And like Sigma 6 they would all be different versions of Dukes left on pegs.

?????? This whole topic just reaks of a night of too much drinking. There is absolutely nothing about the 6" figures that the 3 3/4" Joe figs don't do better.
Did you buy a really big house and need to fill a lot of space or something???

One...I can't afford it. Two...Hasbro has enough issues giving us 3.75 figures at decent distribution. Three...Sigma 6 tanked...hey I'm not saying it was a bad line...in fact I LOVED the design, but it wasn't Joe. Personally I would have loved COPS in that mold but it just didn't sell. |

Actually i miss the Sigma 6 figures, though really different than what is on the market now, I saw a ton of play value in that line. The figures were a nice size and quite durable actually something that wouldn't fall apart.
The current 3.75 GI JOE line is way too fragile has too many parts, I cannot imagine it appealing to kids ever. There not really play items as much as they are weird models/statues that are fully articulated. I feel like I am super aware and gentle with my action figures but still there easily dismembered and cannot hold there accessories very well. If I was 8 years old and my LeatherNecks arm fell off Id buy a Bagukukumon the next time I was at Target and if all I saw was Artic Destro i wouldnt give a shit about GI JOE. I am not sure how Hasbro needs to appeal to there target demographic but they are surely missing the mark over and over again.
