I used the Target HISS Drivers as gunners once I got the real HISS drivers. As for the Black HISS he has a Red HISS Driver in his cockpit and an Extra Target HISS Driver I picked up in the Turret. Rip-It from the Black HISS is in my DTC HISS and the Commander of the night watch pack is in the Turret with the rest of the night watch in the tank.

I bought two of the black HISS tanks and two of the carded red HISS driver figures. I have the red HISS driver in the driver's seat and the HISS commander in the gunner seat. This works pretty well since the blue HISS commander isn't actually Rip-It

The black one has Rip-It and 001 on it so I say that it would be good for Destro or Bludd. I have three of the target blue ones. I use scarface and two air troopers for them. I have the normal helmet on both air troopers. This is the only way that yellow looks good to me and it looks great with my custom blue baroness figure on the ground around a bunch of troopers.

I actually just bought my Hiss tank last night(first one I ever owned) and thought the same thing so I bought a comic pack with the Crimson Guard and the scarred trooper in it. I figure one of those would work fine.

Though now that I think on it, I may put the Baroness in it. That scene in the comic where she shoots SS just flashed in my head.

Morgana: As a first time owner of a HiSS, what do you think?

Well, since I can't compare it to the original vintage HISS I can say it's nice but I did kind of wish the tracks moved instead of just having the little wheels under it move. That's just me though.

It's essentially the same tank, that's why I was curious. I think a lot of us own it now for a nostaglic reason, myself included. Being your first, I figured your opinion wouldn't be as... influenced by the past.

As for the treads, you're right, but anything more would add to the cost and add to the of list things likely to break or rot in the end.

Back on subject. The idea of using Bludd isn't bad... Seems like a good place for him.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking on why they didn't make the treads move. Cost would raise plus, if they used rubber treads there's the chance they could come off in a child's hands like my brother's one Major Matt Mason thingey used to. Those treads were always coming off on me.

Since the Blue HISS Driver (aka Rip-It) is the HISS Commander, and the Red HISS Driver is, well, the HISS Driver, I put the Red one in the driver's seat and the commander at the gunner station. But really, from comics to cartoon, anyone mans the gun. It's all personal preference.

I just got my Hiss a few days ago and I'm a touch disappointed. Sure it's got a driver, but there's no one at the weapon station. Making it worse is that I'm not much of an army builder. The most I have of any one figure is 4 Vipers and 4 Crimson Guardsmen (the latter just by happenstance since I don't really like the CGs). I'll trade you a Rip-It or regular troops for Python ones?

As it is I use red HISS drivers to drive and the Target drivers as gunners.
