I was finally able to secure Wave 1 Flint off of EBAY tonight, question is was it worth the money it took me to do so. It seems to me it was unless the hoarders flood EBAY with them at some point in the near future. I ended up winning it with a 47$ bid, a bit of a high price to pay to complete my collection. So again, I wonder if I made a wise buy on this or should I maybe have waited for the reissue? Any thoughts out there from the Tank?

I would waited for the reissue man. That would dramatically dropped the prices on the W1 ones. $47 is too rich for me for just one fig.

IMO, it's a good buy. the reissuses are cool but they won't have the 25th logo, which i believe is a big deal.

I guess it depends on the type of collector you are. If you open your figures, then it probably would've been cheaper to wait for the reissue. If you are a MOC collector, however, and getting Flint on the 25th Anniversary foil card is important to you, then I guess it makes sense. I didn't realize that he was going for that high these days though.

i wouldve waited. i got one for 30 awhile back an recently got a loose one for 18 an like 2 bux to ship it. but should of jus waited it wouldve been cheaper. my loos one has no hole in the back the one in the package i have no cluse im not openin it. my boy preordered a wave that had him an firefly in it. an a bat an snow serpent i forget the rest. but he got a better deal then what i got.

I am going to get the reissue to have one to open. I got a w1 off ebay too and have not opened it. I do not consider myself to be a moc collector, but I have couple -- w1 Flint and SE, a CG, Will Bill, Spirit, Firefly, w4 SS, Snow Job, Crimson Twins -- that I won't open. It stinks to have to pay what we did on ebay, but we got a w1 Flint, so enjoy it. I would recommend getting a reissue to open, though.

I got my Wave 1 Flint back in April off Ebay for $22.99 BIN + $5 s&h. The thing is Mint On Mint Card. It is probably the best carded figure I have out of about 80 carded figures right now.

I'll keep it and hopefully get a chance to get the revision to open.

Anyone know when that revision case is scheduled to be at retail?
