These figures kind of suck IMO. and i dont think im alone. I think the craze and hype is big now, because the line is popular. I dont think they are gonna sell out so quick, im pretty sure they made a lot more then last year, and i think the majority of people are gonna buy these just to sell on ebay so there will be a huge flood and the price will eventually drive down to a $20 or $30 BIN.

PDD was just a cool looking figure, and the line was new and Hasbro didnt make that many. Then the line took off and everyone wanted one so there went the price.

Yeah, those BIN are usually high the first day. They should drop quite a bit. I wouldn't waste my time checking HTS unless you have nothing to do.

I believe there will be a lot more exclusives available this year than last. Remember where the 25th line was last year in comparison to this year. It has simply exploded, more so than Hasbro ever thought.

I totally agree. To me(many obviously think different)Hasblow did not fully deliver as i thought it would. I mean with the money we are all shelling out now a days hisstanker or no hisstanker the only thing ive seen worth buying is the DVD Battle packs and that new swamp zartan(which no doubt will be scalped nicely at more than 2-3 times the $$$ cash money). Other than that the new vehicles were "ok"(and by ok i mean how many Hisstanks are we going to repaint?,and the same ol' "im scared! wheres my mommy?" faced serpentor with chariot,and wave 9 is no where to be seen in stores still!(i thought hasbro was making more and more(i find myself buying wildbills out of sheer sadness). I think the ebay thing is totally true for the fact that no one wants to pay more than 12 bucks on something that originally cost $6.83 (the price when i started recollecting these delicious little dudes),plus with the shipping costs its like "do i eat real food today" or "lets Wendy's this son of a biatch". Anyways this Dictator is done collecting nonsense for the sake of just having them all. Lators Gators and big props to you Jdizzle my nizzel for not letting a big company blind you with shananigans. Thing is with SDCC exclusives they don't make that many so that they are a sought out piece and collectible.. They made how many last year 1000??? Well they might up it more but their not going to make it so that everyone gets one.. That would just be absurd.. The thing is to draw you to the convention even if you can't make it...

Does anyone have an exact count on how many are produced?

I think we're getting more than last year, but I also believe the fiasco last year has inspired hundreds of speculators all hoping to cash in on $300 SDCC Cobra Commanders. While I seriously doubt CC will ever demand PD Destro prices, who am I to tell anyone differently?
