I had the same Clash of the Titans 2-pack. I remember taking the wings off Pegasus and using them to turn Perseus into one of the hawkmen from Flash Gordon. Also my MMS had filecard that listed Hawk's rank as O-4, but never see that variation mentioned.

I've watched some others. I don't remember a lot of them. Apparently Chris Latta voiced Destro AND COBRA Commander in these things--their voices are very similar.

I was born in '85 so I've never seen any of these commercials before. They are pretty cool, I just watched a whole bunch of them.

im pretty sure i passed on g1 transformers in favor of it.

Was it the Service Merchandise by Eastwood Mall (R.I.P.)? The only thing like that I have is reoccouring Dreams that the Joes Were released the size of the old C.O.P.S. figures. Y'all remember them?

That, and I just had a weird dream that Alice Cooper had a reality T.V. show, where he was teaching Inner city Youth to sing 'Boot scootn' Bogie' Choir style. I HATE that song!! Why would I dream that? So thats why I'm posting at 6:24 a.m.

Someone had mentioned seeing a PDD at retail, but was mistaken? Whoever that was, you were not mistaken. Before the 25th line there was a PDD released in a 2 pack during the Joe vs Cobra line. It was just a repaint of the 92' (I may be wrong on the year) Destro. So he was out at retail at one time.

Now on to the Ketchup bottle rocket ship. I vaguely remember seeing this thing on t.v. But I don't remember if it was a toy they actually made for the public. I want to say it was something that was just for the commercial.

As for what started the thread. I have had those same thoughts from my past, but then I would see the old box art from some of the items and realized that I focused on a certain part of the art and came to the conclusion that due to my focus, the rest of the item wasn't there. Thus thinking it was sold seperately. Not saying that this is your case. just giving an example of my thought process.

Good research... I know a few people who have that figure, but as it says.. it has found it's way into a few collectors hands. I remember seeing it in a TRU once when this wave was first hitting the shelves. So now am I imagining it, or did I see an accidental release of a figure?

And for some reason I kept thinking it was in a two pack thus the Joe vs. Cobra line. I stopped collecting joes around this time due to the horrible paint apps and the shoddy plastic they were made from. What really got under my skin was the Stars and Stripes set that had changed molds for some fo the figures.. Turned me off from buying it.
