Not sure if it's been discussed or answered, but what would be the best method to dye the SkyStriker canopy "Starscream orange?"

I searched "plastic dying methods" but wasn't able to find any products that'll work 100%. I read about Rit brand dye, but I'm not sure how clear/dark it would leave the canopy...trial and error on sample plastics I'm guessing.

I would think if you did a diluted RIT dye it would give you the results but I'm not sure how little you would have to use. The paint is probably your best option but if you do use dye just try it on some card bubbles or something first of course. I would think that stuff would stick to that also. I've never used it so I'm really just guessing on the dye.
If you can find the clear orange a spray would be ideal but probably but a clear coat on it after so that it doesn't chip from a helmet or something. |

I think I'm gonna try the dye first, although I can't imagine it will come out that Starscream bright orange. If this fails then I'll try the clear orange; however I can already picture the spray drops on selective spots.
