I've never had any of the new figures until last year where our town was having the usual Crazy Days sale going on downtown and I bought the comic two pack of Destro and Breaker for 3 bucks. Now this year while I dont have the money to buy all of the new stuff there are a few certain figures that I would love to get my hands on such as Low Light, Hawk and a couple of Cobra Shock/SWAT troopers. Then there's the Desert Zartan and the Wave 3 Snake Eyes with the extra head which is a must have for me.
And yes I missed out on all of the 25th anniversary figures over the past couple of years |

Seeing the TFA figs, and really liking the improved looks and atriculation.
But soon dissapointed when my TFA Duke leg broke when I tried to put it in a vehicle. But later I saw the movie figs and thought I'd give Joes just one more chance. They fit in my Bbi rides pretty well so I stared cheking out the web and low and behold found custom fig sites and here we go again. Only this time I think I'm happier cause the rides look more real and so do most of the figs. |

My wife came back from Marshalls one day W/ a 25th 5 pack of Extreme conditions arctic assault squad for my son. When I saw the details in these figure compared to ARAH figures. I was impressed. Then I saw all my favorite ARAH characters from the sunbow series being reproduced in 25th I was hooked. Then I Googled HISSTANK and here I am, Now I customize them!

I got the cobra 5 pack to put behind one of my o-ring displays. Then they started to come out with alt outfits on the single cards. I loved how they looked like the original card, and that was one of the many mistakes they did in the 1997 line IMO. I started to get the double packs because of the dreadnoks, and the twins were a must. I stopped when they changed the card art for the movie, and I haven't gotten anything for myself since, but all the kids in my life get tons of modern stuff from me as gifts.

I started getting back into Joes when I saw the 15th Ann. line @ TRU in 1998, shortly after, I started recollecting ARAH off eBay and have been collecting since.

Honestly?
I was collecting the whole time from 98-06 but only a little here and there. But the figure that got me into the 25th line was Serpentor. I loved him in the arah line and lover him in 25th. Shortly after that I grabbed the Cobra 5 pack and every single card figure I could find.
