I wrapped the metal post/ ball in teflon tape (plumbers tape) and it fixed it perfectly. I've also thought of dipping the end of the ball post in tool dip, but since the tape worked so well I never tried it.

Gung Heaux's fix makes the figure feel 100 times better and he stands upright now and doesn't have the shakes or that drunken late-night feel anymore. But just like some SW figures, too, we shouldn't have to "fix" our figures that Hasbro is making.
