Mine would be a battle of COBRA Island from the COBRA civil war in Marvel depicting the airfield with Destro's forces on the beach and the Joes caught between COBRA Commander's Maggots and Serpentor's HISS tanks.
It would take several party/office tables pushed together. Eep.

I am reading that series now. That is the best part of the entire comic series in my opinion. I would have paid good money for a Cobra Island. I would have like a Appel figure as well and a Candy. ahhhhhhh

Star Wars General McQuarrie head on a Crimson Guard body (with some wall tack in the neck hole to anchor it). Not as pudgy as Professor Appel, but serviceable.

I would love to make a 15 foot by 15 foot diorama of Cobra Island. Unfortunately, time and space are both prohibiting that. Maybe I'll do it when I retire in 30+ years.

Id love to have one room STRICTLY for Joe and SW stuff.I would have 4-5 feet tall shelved units all around the walls, with all the big ticket items on there and a table in the middle of the floor for the Flagg.
I like my Flagg where it is but I would love to be able to walk around it....if ya know what I mean. |

It not so much a matter of space for me. Its more I cant make up my mind on what to do. I've got 2 ideas right now for my version of Castle Destro.
1) This version would be a very basic castle design laid out on at least 2sheets of plywood, maybe 3 as far as the ground goes. This design would be the castle as well as surrounding grounds. The castle would have a moat around it with functioning drawbridge. Underneath it all would be a second level. Not sure if I want it to be just like a big open warehouse or go with a design similar to the batcave from batman:tas. on the grounds there would be a dilapidated stable. The stable would be cut in half and hinged in the middle tio allow it open like a silo. The stable would actually be covering an elevator that would allow aircraft to come up from the underground hanger. The moat might end up being dry but have doors thats go under the castle and allow ground forces to come out. |

The 2nd idea is alot like this
Except it would be built on the ground level instead of the castle being off the ground. There would be a "stone" wall coming out in a crescent shape from the rock wall. The wall would be like 15" high and would be wide enough to have a catwalk running along the inside to allow for sentries to walk the wall. The rock wall would be hollow and have multiple small ledges that open into the mountains interior, this would allow both troops and whirlwind cannons to move into position to repel attacks. The top of the mountain would be flat. The top interior level would be the hanger deck with elevator to the top for VTOLs. |

A few years ago I was half planning to make an original PIT(from the specs in GIJoe #1) out of wood and metal with a working elevator and the motor pool on top but I don't see me ever getting around to it.
