I just ordered the comic pack with duke/red star online from bigbadtoystore so I don't have to take too many trips to local stores just to find gi joes that I want.

I'm a little disappointed with Duke's leg holdster for the knife don't being a tight fit. It's a bit too big for the knife's thickness. Also Red Star's stand pegs don't fit his feet holes at all. I had to play with it for a while until I possitioned it right.
Other than these two issues I'm very happy with both figures. The paint apps are neat, Duke's figure of this pack is the best figure of him yet and the accessories from this pack makes this set a must have for any Joe collector. Buy it. You won't regret it. |

I was lucky enough to find this the other day as well, and I'll be damned if I can fit that knife in its sheathe. Seeing as how 20 seconds after I opened it I swapped out Duke's head for Grunt's I may just import over Grunt's Knife sheathe as well. I tried to just switch knives, but the Duke body's sheathe is too wide for a standard knife-- just not wide enough for the new knife.

Footpegs and sheathe were OK for mine. I had 2 pieces loose in the package though... the mine(?) and the second hand gun (which I think is Duke's?). Does the mine store/fit anywhere? I've got it loose in Red Star's massive backpack right now.

Nobody else has a problem with the fact that Duke's hands are from General Hawk, which have gloves on, that they painted in fleshtone so that it looks like the skin on his hands is saggy like a 70 year old???

Oh OK. I figured it was a mine because it was circular and looked a bit like what Tripwire would have.
