Rarer: Two or One Peg Stands?

I haven't really spent too much looking into this but is one or the other of these the rarer of the two?

If it isn't too much trouble, what is the exact story behind the pegs (ex: When did they start, etc).

id say the 2 pegs are harder to find for me so far

Well to me, figs with one peg stands are worth much more. They were 1st issue and the two pegs came later.

So, if you take that into account a 1st release Snake Eyes from W1 is worth that much more. To me at least.

So it's definite that all second-issue figures came with two pegs and the first issued ones all have one-pegs or are they scattered among the second releases?

I have gotten a bunch of people asking me if I have any two-peg figures and I cannot find them anywhere for the characters they want but have tons of one peggers.

People prefer the 2 peg one for displaying purposes. One pegs ran from W1-W6 and then the revision case with SS and SE from W1 hit and those had 2 pegs.

Right now, I think there are fewer two peggers. But they aren't making the one peggers anymore so eventually the one-peggers will be rarer.

two peggers started with Wave 6 and a Wave 5 Revision, correct?
and there is still only Joe 2 peg stand, no cobra yet???

Also, only the Joes come with two peggers. Because of the position of the peg on the Joe logo on the stand, it was hard for figures to stay up. By adding the other peg, it balances out the figure much better. The Cobra ones, the peg was not on the logo so the figures fit well in them already so those didn't get updated.

it depends. let's say, in the case of the Joe 5 pack, the two pegs stands are rarer because so many one peg stand 5 packs were released and clogged the shelves but it seems only a few 2 peg 5 packs showed up at retail at Ross.

but, in the case of the wave 3 comic packs, the first hit of them had one pegs stands, and then when they hit en mass and have continued to clog the pegs, those have been the 2 peg stand, so in this case one peg stand wave 3 comics are the rarer.

so, like I said, it just depends on the figures and the sets, not an absolute of the pegs.
