So it's been a while since I have had a Face Off poll. What better way to bring it back then with 2 of the most sought after figures of 2011! Dial Tone and.... Dial tone? One is a remake of a classic 86 figure while the other is a modern interpretation of a classic 86 figure. One was captured and held in Brazil while the other was part of Special Mission Brazil whose sole purpose was to rescue Dial Tone.... Wait I'm confused. Why was Dial Tone sent to rescue himself? Anyways, no time for that, time to see which version the Tank likes better, the 25th style or the Special Mission Brazil 2 boxed set figure! Please explain!

Haven't received my Club fig yet, but he's one of my favorites, so I think I'm already set up for disappointment. My suspicion is the SMB2 version because his skin doesn't look like he spent too much time under a tanning bed and his pack is the right damn color of white-gray. Goddamnit!
A little bitter. But I'm just glad we're getting him, blah, blah, blah ... I can't even say it anymore. |

That's how he got caught. He was on vacation in Brazil. He decided to go to a nude beach and work on his tan. Next thing you know, a naked Relampago knocks him out cold and drags him to Cobra de Aco. Or at least that's how it happened in my Joeverse...

I'm a bit bummed on the paint choice for the head on the regular one. But at least we got him.

I was already out of buying Joes when he came out originally and never watched the toons or read the comics. I like the boxed set one better just because of his color scheme.

Neither of them are customs. The classic style is the Club Exclusive figure while the black and tan version is from the convention set.

I really like the 25th DT from the club. It's a great 25th representation of the classic figure. That said, I cannot help but think that if it would have been released at stores as part of the 25th anniversary line a couple years ago, I would not be nearly as excited about it as I am.
On the other hand, the MBII DT has an exclusive feel to it that makes it neat. I just don't understand why the club gave DT an arctic looking outfit to go chase snakes in the amazon. For this reason I choose Classic 25th DT.
