ok so i read over at deviantart that rook was no longer named rook because of copyright issues. heres the message with a copy of the artwork.
*Rahll is the artist that made the artwork and composer of the message posted on deviantart* "Another image for Molten Monkey International on their new S.K.O. toy line. This guy unfortunately doesn't quite have a name anymore due to some copyright issues, so I'm gonna call him Samuel L. Fishburne.... My client will probably swoop in and correct me with his actual new name, rofl. Anyway, I worked on this image on and off for quite some time. I tried a whole new process and approach, and I'm pretty happy with it. The matting and background painting took forever, and by the time I was done with it, I hardly wanted to do the guy, haha. Anyway, hope you like it, more soon! Also, check out *7377s page, he's the creator of the toy line, awesome guy and great friend." Last edited by snakeeyes566; 05-01-2011 at 09:04 PM.. |

Jam Saxon.
That's mine. But they can have it as long as I get some of those wonderful vehicles and playsets eventually.

That's a beautiful piece of artwork man. I'm glad to see that SKO is still around. Opinions of it have been kind of grim here on the tank. I would assume that the line is still moving forward?

I'm a little surprised that they are having copyright issues NOW. Would have thought that would have been figured out a long time ago before production even began.

They should produce the vehicles and playsets first
They won't have any copyright issues and will sell rather well...this will give them revenue to fund the legal department |

It seems as though the vehicles will be the main focus for some of us. I just hope they see the light of day

YES.
They have ALWAYS been coming out. Some on the tank seem to believe that one waves a magic wand and *POOF!* a toy line is ready to ship. The SK Omega team is not only building a two-team multi-figure line complete with an assortment of very large, detailed and intricate vehicles and playests, but they are also creating a wholly detailed fictional universe for them to exist in. THIS STUFF TAKES TIME. Just because prototypes have not been released --YET-- doesn't mean they don't exist. Many on this site are going to be SHOCKED when the SK Omega team elects to release prototype photos. This line is going to be incredible.
