Do we need both? Doesn't Steel Brigade make more sense as they seem like an "elite" part of the team? Would the Joes really want Green Shirts around?

these 2 green shirts like to think they're worth having around . if guys like bazooka and shipwreck can make the team green shirts like this could lead them, lol.

Yeah, I don't see the need for Green Shirts.
The whole point of GI Joe is a small group of elite specialists. To me, Leatherneck, Footloose, Grunt, and Gung Ho are the only Green Shirts. |

if gi joe is an elite fighting unit they still need support elements in many cases, and america doesn't throw goofy ass privates in it's most important covert ops, they have specialist corporals and other higher ranking nco's filling those spots. that's what i imagine the green shirts as. even if a green shirt comes into the joe team with a higher rank than say, duke, he still answers to duke because of the seniority on the joe team.
that's how i see it anyway. does that make any sense ? |
