Not certain how many have spoke of this idea, but I have been toying with making a submarine for Cobra.
Ofcourse this will not be scaled fro the figures, but I am considering on making it similar to the leviathan submarinie from the N64 Aerofighters game. no cannons of course, but also wanting it to be able to launch aircraft, since COBRA uses VTOLS, I thought this would not be too difficult to map out. If you have any input or even your own ideas, feel free to share |

interesting idea, but why not have it to scale for the figs- especially if you are gonna have it launch aircraft?

i understand the size of the project would be an issue. unless if you are doing a dio it would just be in the background. if that is the case then think about the front of it having the snakehead look to it like the arah cartoon plane. just an idea

I do like the idea of a Cobra submarine with a Firebat launch silo.

For ideas, look into the anime show Full Metal Panic.

I always liked the idea of a sub ground assault carrier. Cobra could transport a whole Hiss Squadron around the world underwater and no one would be any wiser until it surfaced just off the coast of whereever it wanted to attack. Makes plenty of sense really, considering Cobra is based on an island...
A large-scale submarine aircraft carrier would be fun as well of course... |

Many moons ago there was a sort-of 3 3/4" scale black submarine at TRU. It was maybe the size of a Republic gunship from Star Wars, maybe a little longer. I don't remember the brand (True Heroes, dunno). I have searched and searched for it on Ebay to no avail. :(
