Not sure what you mean by bulging hips, maybe you mean the thighs being wider than the waist, but same exists in other figs in same review that you gave higher ratings. The supposed scrawny arms are actually more realistic to me because real arms just aren't as huge as those portrayed on many figs. And if it bothered you so much on CS SE, strange that it didn't seem to bother you as much on the ROC SE v43 you gave 4-stars. The weird cut on the chest unless they decide to do away with torso joint there's always going to be a cut that breaks the sculpt and aesthetics. I don't think the chest cut is any worse on CS SE than on the comic pack Deadpool you gave 4-stars that has a raised lip on the chest instead of tapering off. And maybe the accessories aren't perfect on CS SE but they aren't any worse than the oversized accessories on the Deadpool in your signature. I know the review is just your personal opinion, but the ratings seem a bit inconsistent to me. And frankly, rating that laughably oversculpted piece of junk ROC SE higher than CS SE made me lose respect for your opinion. That said, even if I don't agree with your opinions/ratings, I will continue to read your reviews because I appreciate your effort and the pics provided. |

The purpose of the "Many Faces of..." series is actually multi-fold (yes I realize that is not a word). First, it is a review of many of the versions of characters over the years. Second, and somewhat more importantly, it is housecleaning for me. A chance to look over my collection and evaluate why certain figures are within it. Lastly, there is somewhat a catharsis here. Some of these figures are not going to be in my collection after I write this up. I am evaluating why I purchased them, why I kept them, and why I now don't want them or want them. I am re-evaluating my action figures because, well it's time to do it. For the first in this series, I look at one of the figures who has had a metric ton of editions, Snake Eyes and while there is no way I could cover them all, I think I have a strong representation of the character here. Enjoy. http://www.zedsjoesite.com/review/mfse/mfse.html |
