personally that new se was sort of a let down for me. He was waaay too hyped up and when I opened him up all I saw were accessories. It's nice that they listened to the fans tho. But the figure itself .. eh. I just put him in a baggie and haven't really touched him since.
A big part of the let down for me is his glossy paint job and the fact that mine has loose hip joints. I actually like the 1st PoC SE best. On the flip side, that Duke is now my goto Duke lol. The first POC SE was very cool too, I agree on that, I think the Wave 3 edges him out by a hair but he is still cool enough for me to keep. On Duke I defialty feel the BEST Duke is the one from the first Resolute pack (the one with the red Troopers and Blaack CC) I liked the first reso's mold but the paint on that one was much better, plus he had that glider. @drunkmonkey-I am probably showing my age, but MY SE v1 actually came from the store LOL. @weezus-Sorry you don't like cool figures ;-) |

You realize CS SE came with 2 other guns and that you could put any gun you want into his hand, right? You know, if you had a Resolute Snake Eyes, you could switch out that sword and scabbard and those wonky-ass hands that yours has. You could also try posing him in a way that doesn't look ridiculous. And stop bending his scabbard.
Same here.

I had issues with you tearing apart CS SE so much, very nice figure and version of him. I do agree that Wave 3 SE is superior to CS but not by as much as you stated here.

My secret shame: as a kid, I never had a Snake Eyes. Not one. I had the first versions of Spirit, Shipwreck, Duke, Storm Shadow, Destro, and a pretty wide assortment of about 30-40 other characters by the time I grew out of Joes...I just never picked one up.
It wasn't until I was older and read through the comics that I gained an appreciation for the character. While he definitely can be (and has been) overexposed, he's still a great character with a ton of great storytelling possibilities. I have at least one of each of the new Snake Eyes figures, and the Wave 6 all black SE is probably my favorite Joe figure from the 25th line. |

woooow i dont know what kind of figure came with your city strike snake eyes , but mine is awesome , i respect your reviews on the figures, but i also think your reviews are a little confusing , u say the snake eyes version 26 from the artic set doesnt work 2 much because of the color scheme , then u say the roc artic snake eyes the one with a camo that work well on snow sucks because is white whats up with that ?
and your points about snake eyes version 34 are just weak Last edited by fhersanke; 02-05-2011 at 04:53 AM.. |

I can't believe CS SE only got 1 & 1/2 stars... that's the same amount of stars that Roger Ebert gave for Basic Instinct 2. LOL.

Another gun fixes the other problems how exactly (scrawny arms, buldging "birthing" hips," that wierd cut in the chest)? Also why should I buy another figure to fix the first one as you suggested with reso SE? Actually telling me that proves my point on the figure. Also I never even mentioned the hands, thanks for illistrating my point further. The scabbord was bent because that seems to be it's major flaw after all. The thing acts like it is made of rubber. Well I stated reasons of my opinion is all I can say. I said the artic set doesn't work in a real world setting (black on snow) but at the same time looks cool. Artic Snakes in camo works in a a real world setting but looks silly. The point being that which is "functional" isn't always what looks good on a toy. Maybe my points are weak on v34, but I happen not to think so. whats your opinion about snake eyes desert assault , the one with the jacket and 2 uzis ? an jungle attack the one with the tornado kick ? |

Iron Man action figures tend to do better in your reviews than SE figs. LOL.
