The VAMP the more iconic fast attack vehicle was released in the 25th line. They were abundant but became immediately scarce when the markdowns hit.
KO makers have taken advantage of the TF lines but so far we haven't seen any KO Joe vehicles especially in the 25th line till now. And one of the vehicles they made a knockoff is this one... IN THE PACKAGE: They copied the 25th style (especially the Target Exclusive Attack On Cobra Island) packaging with some amusing twists... Front: Instead of the Cobra symbol with "Attack On Cobra Island" writted on it. It has Grand Slam's mug with "Very Hot Fire War Chariot" instead. Back: "A Real American Hero" became " A Real Hero". Double Clutch became Hold Firmly Time. Vamp = Very Hot Fire, weird name for a vehicle . I suppose the name "Hold Firmly Time" is a twisted rehash of the actual character's name. Surprisingly the package has good english except for the labels for the other included vehicles. Sides are exactly the same as the 25ths... Bottom: Instead of Cobra Commanders's mug saying "Failure Will Not Be Considered" you get a display of the other vehicles available...don't ask me if I've seen the Firebat, Serp Chariot vs Armadillo and Flight Pod and RAM because so far it's only the HISS tanks and recently the VAMPs that are seen. |

OUT OF THE BOX:
Stickers: The stickers are similar to that of the 25th VAMP. With some amusing twists. I wonder warning signs like "CAUTION Latest Material" or "STAND AWAY Latest Technique" or "DANGER New Toys" will appear any time soon in any military vehicle. The figure: Here's Hold Firmly Time!! .... He's basically a brick with shoulder, neck and thoigh swivel. Not to mention the quality is really shoddy. The figure's accessories are exactly the same as the KO HIsstank's, came with two "stands" with no pegs, a pistol and knife. I can see they attempted to copy Double Clutch but I'm sure Double Clutch would be scratching his head and say...."dang, I look prettier than this fool".... Ze Vamp: Personally this KO Vamp feels cheap compared to the original as opposed to those KO Hisstanks. Main differences I can tell are as follows: 1. KO has a darker green tone 2. KO has a gray turret 3. KO has no clear plastic for both front and rear lights. 4. KO has a slight change in the front bumper 5. KO has no rear view mirror One major complaint I have with the KO Vamp is its turret hoses. They are too d**n stiff that you will have a hard or near impossible time to rotate the turret or even point it up. |

With Clutch:
The shovel and gas tanks are removeable. He fits of course... Only other complaint is the prohibitive price. He's pricey for the KO to the point that the price is almost like the original's on the first markdown. I didn't buy it coz of that price point. Props to some members of this for allowing me to review this prior to them getting shipped out. Unlike the KO Hisstank this one is a disappointment. PROS: 1. Looks like the Vamp CONS: 1. Expensive for a KO and not practical to army build. 2. Plastic feels cheap 3. STiff hoses that you have a hard or near impossible time moving it I rate this.... out of : |

Hmm, cut the hoses, paint the gun red, paint on some dark green/black camo and a big red Z and you have a cool Action Force, Z-Force custom Jeep.
The figure might be a good stand in for the vintage Action Force line too I want the sticker sheet just to get a good, large scan of the Danger! New Toys sticker |

The figure's head looks like they molded it with the helmet on backwards.
