Not surprised, Reso Storm Shadow had good ideas(separate hood/gi top), bad execution. Put the hood on the Resolute Alley Viper without his helmet and you'll see what I mean. |

Just Got the Desert Battle Storm Shadow today & he is KICK-ASS... the locking weapons, real chain, & soft goods are SUPERB!!
He's right up there with the Jungle Assault one for me... ^ Yeah Shin...I guess there is always the possibility that the Jungle Assault SS will get released if there is actually more waves (past 4) of POC or as an exclusive, etc. I know they need to make good on that molded webgear still, as that's a new piece that has not shown up on any slated release yet. But for those who do want this Storm Shadow "as shown here" in this review, I would highly recommend getting him on the secondary market soon, as he is likely to be changed in some small way from now untill a possible widespread release (like Arctic Threat Snake Eyes) . And these figures that were easy to find months ago are slowly disappearing (minus Arctic Threat Destro & Elite Ice Viper), or their gear is... |

The original prototype at JoeCon 2009 used the torso from POC Spirit/25th Alpine/Resolute Training Storm Shadow(I think). If the web gear is used, hopefully it is on another version of Storm Shadow, and I think we are getting a previously unseen/acknowledged version of Storm Shadow for POC next year. |

^ Cool!
I remember hating the flesh tone shirt on the "Jungle" prototype at the Con, but then was just so happy he was bare chested instead of that... that I had forgot he might look better with that webgear outfitted some other way. |

Did you notice that on the mini poster that comes with the POC figures, the SS has Resolute style legs and not ROC ones? I think that it is an interesting change. I'm tempted to pick up an extra of each to do the swap...
