My Review of the first - and only - 30th Anniversary figure I've seen so far, The Hazard-Viper. I'm kind of on the fence about this one. There's some good (the accessories, paintwork, packaging) but a lot of bad (limited articulation, ill-fitting pieces.) That Figures: REVIEW: GI Joe 30th Anniversary - Hazard-Viper

Nice review. I actually really like this figure, but admit his articulation is severely lacking.
One question: I thought we saw pics of this figure at Joe Con and SDCC and he came with warning cones or something. Was I wrong?

Good review Iok. I have Hazard Viper waiting in his bubble at home with Stalker. I had the Volcano Viper but ended up selling him because I like these colors a lot better.
BTW, I think the warning cones were shown with Techno-Viper, not Hazard Viper.

Yeah, the colour-scheme is definitely better here.

That's what I like about him - he's got a good, clearly-defined role and I could imagine kids really having fun playing with him.

I didn't have any trouble at all getting the helmet under the neck ring on any of my Hazard Vipers.

I love the direction they went with this figure. I find the figure easy to apply to my verse. Articulation does suck and BTW, the mask can fit into the neck ring in the jacket/ vest.
