I was six in 2002, and only got into G.I.Joe because my uncle was a huge fan as a kid. But I saw a very few episodes of the original, my favorite being Captives Pt. 1 & 2. I got it free with Duke and Cobra Commander.
Anyway, I always thought that the Duke in that 2-pack was a little weird, because he...was wearing a helmet and didn't have a tan shirt. And I had always wanted two things at that age. An original-looking Duke, and a tank from the cartoon. But there was something else. I always thought Flint was really cool. So, when I found HoH Flint in Hastings, I had no choice. Design This Flint is more comic-oriented, with a black beret and shirt. He has a holster on one leg, gloves, and a watch on his left hand. Can you point me to any other Joe who has one of those?! Accessories Flint comes with a pistol for his holster...obviously. But he also comes with a green shotgun and...a black shotgun. His final accessory is a gold nameplate/stand. You'll probably end up throwing one shotgun in your weapons box, since it isn't even possible for a soldier to fire two shotguns at once. Articulation As is standard with 25th figs, Flint has great articulation. He looks great holding any weapon, or even beating the snot out of a Cobra. Finishing thoughts I bet you thought this review started out wierd, eh? Well, I had to build up to my point. And PS, I'll be getting a 25th Duke with some b-day money, so that dream came true, too.
