When I saw the 25th GI Joe line I became instantly hook and began collecting. With the Rise of Cobra, a director with no former movies done in a realm of fantasy my hopes dropped. When they released Cobra Commander I was very disappointed. However no matter how much I was worried about the movie I was excited about the toy. When the toys hit the shelf my first visit was to Toys R Us. I picked up the Fireman and what would become my favorite figure in my collection. The Toys R Us Exclusive Firefly. I was very excited about having him in my collection.
The first thing I noticed about him was his feet. The leather coverings of the boots which reminded me of the soldiers from world war two. The shoes however lead to legs which were sculpted just for him. The metal plating which comes to his elbows, shoulders, and knees and his pants make me think of a soldier more so then just a sabotage he appears and looks every bit ready for war. His visor which is removeable reveal his eyes which seem to hold a very malice stare. The dark Cobra vest which is hard to remove. His regular chest looks much like a resolute soldiers lacking what I can see of any other signs. I was to afraid to take the vest off as it was securely placed on him. He comes with riggings used for climbing on his legs and from what I can see there is no way to take that off of him. The figure itself looks very nice and I'm very happy to have it. The Accessories Include. A hunting knife which doesn't appear to have a place. I slide it in the riggings of his legs. A small sub machine gun which has a removeable magazine. The magazine doesn't fall out without being taken out. A magazine bag with one removeable magazine. A backpack for equipment, A flashlight which you put on the backpack's side. A gasoline tank and a pair of pliers. I think it also came with a C4 pack but without the ability to put it away I returned it to my weapon collection. Those are the accessories. All in all I think this figure is awesome. I'm very excited to have it and I like it just as much as the Flash Figure I have stored in my collection. (PS First time trying to take a picture of a figure sorry y'all) Last edited by atomsmasher; 12-11-2009 at 03:41 AM.. Reason: Picture adding |

Sorry I noticed something when I was looking at my GI Joe Collection. He is a repaint of the Cobra Troopers from the Resolute movie.

Its a decent figure and it is pretty close to his appearance in RESOLUTE cartoon. You can probably use the Pit Commando kevlar gear or something on him, lol.

it's my favorite fig from the roc line as well but once i got it i realized i could have made it from stuff i have. i originally thought the head sculpt was unique but it's shared with the resolute comic 2 pack storm shadow.

I think they should have gone full resolute with this fig. ROC Flash's head + PIT trooper armour.
