For a while now, there has been yammer along the ranks of custom art pins. Well after pulling teeth, phone conversations, a half dozen different places, which I've had talk to the big Heads. ABout a month of planning, ripping it down and rebuilding... Finally started to show some fruits of the labor of love. First saw the beret with Hawk, in a preview. When I had originally created an idea to go along with the RoC movie flash worn by General Hawk in Rise of Cobra.. the wheels started to turn.

I wanted one for myself, but didn't know how to go about it. So I searched high and low from every corner of the net and personal references I could find, to find one company who passed. But there was a catch... Now I needed two of these one faction was for a girl who was dying of cancer... she now smiles cause she has her cobra pin and her joe pin.. she wears both of them proudly for a cancer trooper who's time runs short.

Now I have my pin... and this girl to take care of... Only way I could get them done was in mass quanity! Great now what?

Ok ... Fast Forward present day and a month of sundays. People piled in from every spot to think of to get these pins from me. Well Time has come for a review on the long antisipated item for Exclusives... The Hisstank Faction pin exclusive!

First up... The Eagle.

Taken from the flash that dawns Hawks Beret.. Is this idea. A solid brass shield with a nice deep engravement, then elctro-coated in rich beautiful 14kt Gold, then sealed and protected. Along with it a deep and beautiful ebony enamal to highlight the star and eagle.

The back having a diamond plate look, for added grip. while two 8mm posts provide extra support to hold this pin to a beret like the film used one. The texture and finish of this pin.. very nice.

Rating- a 9 of 10.

It passes this Joe fan's expectations. in a lot of areas.

Next up is the Cobra Logo pin.

The Cobra is offset from the Joe as the logo is deeply beautiful in it's Crimson with black nickle metal finish, also like the Joe pin, it too is Electro-plated. Great for use on a Beret, or jacket for that casual Con , or formal for an affair to that motorcycle ride, with it perched upon your vest.

Honey Comb back, with two 8 mm posts for added security with military clutches... Deeply engraved and displays nice.

Rateing: a 8 of 10

Cons- Cobra Logo is nice, but due to the deepness of the dark Nickle, this pin tends to tarnish easily. However there is an easy fix for it.

A cotton cloth and a bit of turtle wax polishing compound. Apply a little amount to the cotton cloth, then in one traveling direction, wipe and smooth the pin over until the blemishes are gone. Wipe clean and you can display your logo proudly.
