Uh, no. I told you there was a dude from Target with actual numbers. Your opinion vs his facts.
The effect bootlegging has on the entertainment industry is widely exaggerated by the industry, because then they don't need to take responsibility for being creatively bankrupt (helped in no small part from the writers strike) and the increased cynicism from which. The lowered interest in going out to the movies could also be the result of increased DVD ownership, rentals, legitimate downloads, and cable on-demand, none of which you adressed. Yes, yes I can. They're spending, but it's not in the same place as they were five years ago. Technology has moved on, and like the movie and music industry, you failed to take that into account in your argument. And as for my argument? I don't have one, it's just a point of view based purely on facts that I know and from what I see in MD. The entertainment industry is losing millions due to bootlegging of movies and music. Thats why DVDs are being released to retail quicker than before, like two months waiting period being end of theater showing to DVD release date. Music is being pushed back reorganized or shelved due to piracy. This is happening much more now than ever and its tied directly to people unwillingness to spend money on these things. Back to the topic at hand though, these figures are unneccessary. I know retailers ask for certain things to be made as exclusives so I am wondering if this is a Target exclusive since that would make sense. I don't see kids getting excited over this item being in stores and most likely a few sets will be picked up and the rest will eventually be clearanced. |

This set is brutal.
I have no problem with Dialtone being female. I have a problem with Dialtone looking almost exactly like Helix. It's shameless. I understand that the exclusives are usually repaints/kit bashes, and have no problems with that, either. Just try to be a little creative. Someone said earlier that they look like corps figures, and I agree. I'd never pay $25 bucks for this. A lot of the ROC product has been a win for me. This is not. |

repeater sure looks like a white dude on the filecard. i kinda dig the name "jill morelli"--i thought they'd go with "jackie morelli," but the "jack and jill" thing is kind of funny.
still, even with footloose, law, and order, this pack will be hard to justify at full price.

body of Footloose, Head from Zartan's spare head, webgear and machine gun from Repeater.. its all there in the same pack so Hasbro want us to do a mix and match then Lol... Last edited by Rulz; 08-28-2009 at 12:59 AM.. |

I honestly think the Zartan with the disguise head along with Footloose's vest would make a far better looking Repeater than the "Hard Ball" one we're getting.

Are you sure they didn't give you a Giraffe instead of Dial-Tone?
