46 Zone, great review man, do like the look of him a lot, pity the way he has to stand straight though… I guess the plastic T-Bar might be because Retro’s now being make in Vietnam instead and things are now gonna be a bit different like the packaging too?
Anyways, awesome review! Night, did you ever manage to get the red Hiss Tank retro driver? I remember you was after one when I bought some of your FSS figures off of you a while back. |

Glad to know it's not just me. I opened mine up lat night, and I was like, Damn, this guy is a straight up Hunchback. This is what happens if you slouch too much in school kids.

Sounds like you had better luck then I did. Found it tonight put the HISS together, put on all the stickers, and grabbed the figure bent the legs up to put him in the cockpit the legs and T-bar fell off. Apparently they didn't glue the bottom half of the torso together. Took the legs off the bar and glued at the seams now it's good.

Rip It, (Fredd T. Booth III of Fall River, MA) unmasked?
It occurred to me that Fredd T. might just be "Freddie" spelled another way. I don't know the full story yet, but the Rip It action figure was first introduced and sold in 2000. Only a year later, a person by that name and birthplace becomes a Director of Product Engineering at Hasbro, and continues advancing within the company into management. This photo is probably six years old now, but might be a clue to what Hasbro's Sr. Program Director, Global Project Management looks like today. He doesn't look very mean like the character, Rip It, but instead looks downright friendly. He must of made quite the impression upon someone at Hasbro, if he got a G.I. Joe figure named in his honor, and eventually landed a decent job with his Industrial Engineering skills. Fred Booth III, originally of Fall River, MA.
