I'll try to keep this short. I've reviewed a couple of these exo-armor sets but when I saw this one I was still excited because their helmets and color scheme seem inspired by Cobra B.A.T.s. So am I happy to have them in-hand? It's complicated...

The Good

The packaging is again awesome...


The design and figures molds used for this set are great...




Anna's neck is painted the appropriate skin tone (though its barely visible with the scarf)...


The accessories are also very cool...


The Bad
For everything mentioned above there is a corresponding issue. When taken together I get the impression this set was rushed at the factory.
1. The helmets... Notice in the above pic their are 6 helmets. 3 came in the package and another 3 were included in a separate ziplock bag. The helmets in the package are much too small where as the additional ones fit well. In Anna's case the opposite was true. Her's was too big but the smaller ones in the 3 figure set fit well. They must have packaged the female helmets by mistake and solved it by including the correct helmets on the side. Sadly the paint on the additional helmets seem rushed. One of them was just bad.

These helmets are much too small for their heads.


So I have 3 decent quality helmets for the guys, one female helmet for Anna and two additional female helmets and one male helmet with a terrible paint job. All in all, the fix works and I've got 3 extra helmets.
Last issue with the helmets.

This really cool color swap helmet was not included, either due to mistake or a running change.


The Ugly
The paint has a bit of a "sticky" finish to it. The paint has not chipped or worn away yet, but it seems like the paint wash was not fully. I hope it doesn't become a bigger issue. I mention it here because the is no upside to it, unlike the helmet issue.

Anna is... not blonde. Her hair is literally GOLD, and it's weirdly position too far back on her head.

It's not a big deal for me personally as I switched her to Selene's hair I had leftover. But for others, her gold hair might be a very big deal.

In spite of all the issues I still really like the set and I'm using them with the Interstellar Legion Set to create Heavy Armor B.A.T.s. I'll post a separate review for those soon.
