Great reviews... I'd have to say that between the two 7-packs, this one was the weaker link though it contains the best figure out of the 14: Zap. I couldn't agree more, here is the perfect Joe figure. He's big, bulky, looks Mexican, perfect web-gear, armed to the teeth. Just fantastic.
I'll agree with you on all your ratings, except for 'Altitude'. Why the Hell does he look like a 60 year old? I mean, why did they use Red Stars head, and why the Hell couldn't they take the time to place a hole in the pack for the hose to plug into? This is no replacement for Ripcord. I'll take Wayans over this guy. I give him a 5 and I'm only being generous because of the backpack assembly. Just my 2 cents! Keep the reviews trucking! |

Thx a lot! The Joe set is a must, but I'm not overall amazed at the Cobra one.

Thanks for the review. For anyone who has it, can you tell me how well the tan sleeves on Recondo matches Duke's? If it's a perfect match, I want to use Recondo's arms for Duke and use Outback's arm or something similar for Recondo so he has short sleeves like the original.

good reviews, but I don't think Zap is a perfect 10 since his helmet won't stay on his head. But, he's definitely my favorite of the 7.

Except for the Mindbenders, I was very impressed with all the army builders. I really only need one Joe set, the Cobra set is what I want more/multiples of.

Didn't know Ripcord (sic) has Red Star's head. That's sort of disappointing as he's one I've been looking forward to (being one of my first ever 'Action Force' Joes)... May give him a ROC PIT Commando's bonce and see how that looks.

I'm hopefully getting my sets here before this week ends, but I have changes already planned for the Joes...
Recondo - Flint arms with altered hands Wet-Suit - New arms, legs, and a head with helmet from Broken Arrow Toys Chuckles - New hands, and possibly new legs Ripcord/Altitude - Drill a hole in pack for the hose to go in and maybe a new head Hit n Run - New lower arms Outback - Fine as is Zap - Fine as is |
