This once common repaint has gotten stupidly expensive in recent years. It's a neat looking variant. But, I'm not sure I'd pay the current prices.

Today's new profile looks at the 1993 Eel:

This purple repaint is similar to the 1992 figure and is a great army builder. It's not the 1985 figure. But, it is a neat figure to own who works great with vehicles like the Bugg.

Frostbite is another quintessential 1985 vehicle driver. He's designed to do his job and look good while doing it.

Great reviews . I think that in Eel's case, some director at Hasbro thought he didn't look evil enough, so he must have said "make him purple or something and give him red, mean weapons".

When I was a kid, I always thought Eel v2 was a GI Joe from looking at the catalogue. So bright in colours, like Barricade or Wet Suit.

This figure brings a nice visual to a collection. But, there are issues with it should you choose to open her.
