So I just got mine in the mail today and was so excited I decided to post pics! Right off the bat, this figure is pretty decent, it is shorter than Mouse or the Retaliation Trooper, but not ridiculously shorter if height differential bothers you. He comes with a BOATLOAD OF ACCESSORIES! Some pretty neat guns and of course, the drone. Enjoy the pics guys. I'll try to post more detailed ones later. There's also one for those of you that want to know what the ROC head looks like on him. Dolemite, here's the back and holster pics. Yes it is from China, yes it pales the wave 1 duke in comparison. Note- his forearms are a bit stubby, so he has a hard time holding weapons with both hands. Also this head sculpt is a lot smaller than previous ones, smaller than ROC, and wave 1 duke. Almost the size of the desert battle duke from POC. NOTE THE ARMS ARE NOT THE COBRA SHOCK TROOPER'S ARMS. THE PICTURES SHOW HOW SHORT THE FOREARMS ARE, THE VEST HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. SHOCK TROOPER UPPER ARMS DON'T HAVE PADS THEY ARE NEWLY TOOLED ARMS AND FOREARMS.
Added the weapon holding pics!!!! Last edited by Tunnel_Rat1320; 07-24-2013 at 06:47 PM.. Reason: More pics |

Badass! I love the real world color scheme! This can be a troop builder figure too!

Is it me or with the alternate head on the neck seems a bit too tall?
Thanks by the way. How did you get those already?

Duke looks awesome. I might just have to do some army building with him like I did with the old ROC Desert Ambush Duke.

More evidence that Hasbro keeps shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to their treatment of the Joe line. Wave 1 Duke and Roadblock are choking pegs at retail, but would a great figure like this do so? Nuh-uh.
I would have taken a delay to have had the Ultimate line be Wave 1. The Joe line would have been better off overall. Instead, the people who aren't psychos like us see the crap in Wave 1 (aside from the Joe Trooper) and steer clear when the good stuff finally hits (although there were some quality figs in Waves 2 & 3, but you know what I mean). Now personally, I don't have a huge problem with the release schedule, because like a lot Joe fans, I appreciate what we get and take the good with the bad...hell, even bad figures can be good for custom fodder. I'm just thinking of the perception of John Q. Public...GI Joe needs their support as well if it's going to survive at retail. Just my two cents. Thanks for the great pics, BTW...can you post shots of Duke's holster and the back of his vest?

Pretty sweet looking figure. I have 5 of these coming to me. I normally only troop build Cobras but couldn't resist this guy. He would look even better if with the vest that came with the Retaliation Night Fox vest. But it looks like that vest is just for the 5pt articulation figure.
