File Card: "Twenty years in the Army, and Repeater never got higher than a rank of E-6 Staff Sergeant. The man can never hack it in the garrison, he's not a barracks Soldier. But, put him on the field and you'll find out that other Joes want to soldier with him-because he's the one that's going to bring them home in one piece."
Repeater is one that never got much media exposure. He was in a hand full of issues on A Real American Hero, and to my knowledge was never on the cartoon. Thankfully to The GIJCC and this year's Nocturnal Fire set, Repeater gets to join the ranks of the Modern Era G.I. Joe figures. Repeater is made entirely from the Retaliation 'Rockblock' v23 without the huge holsters that would put Wild Bill v11 to shame. Once again The GIJCC has hit a homerun with the new head sculpt for Repeater. The head sculpt reminds me of Gunnery Sgt. Tom 'Gunny' Highway from Heartbreak Ridge. The new head sculpt is so well done that just looking at him you can tell he's got years in the Military, and just because he's one of the oldest doesn't mean he won't get the job done. I like that they used the new 'Rockblock' mold for him. Gives him the look that he can handle any machine gun especially the one he comes with. The GIJCC did not skimp on accessories on this figure. He comes with the vest from Night Adder, not one but two back packs from Heavy Dutys v10 & v11, an ammo belt from Roadblock v16 to feed that gun, machine gun from Iron Grenadier v8 and a knife from Snake Eyes v54. Repeater also comes with the arm from Long Arm v2's robot. I was puzzled that this was included when I was going through my set at JoeCon. My roommate and I asked David Lane about this and it turns out to be a steadicam articulator arm on the smart gun. An homage to the '88 Repeater who had a "body mount" to support the gun. If it's cover fire that you need on the field, Repeater will definitely give you all the cover fire you need and than some. Overall Repeater is an great figure with an awesome update. Repeater turned out to be my favorite figure from the whole set, with Psyche Out in a very close second. It's sad that a figure this cool ended up as an exclusive. I would highly recommend this figure if you have the ways to get one.

Dealbreaker. If it wasn't for Repeater being in the set, I never would have bought it. Great figure!

I like the Repeater fig too. Excellent review. However, this is the second Repeater figure in the Modern Era as he was released in the RoC 5-pack woth the female Dial-Tone (Jill S. Morelli).
The only problem I have is that his head is a tad bit too big and that no one seems to know how to actually connect the robotics arm piece to the weapon the Club did not give instruction or show it it use.

Cool review
I like this Repeater even if the neck too short and heads a bit to big from my taste.. how much does the nocturnal set go for? |

Nice review, I like how you posed him with the gun.
My biggest gripe is the two holes on the sides of the legs where the battle kata holsters did go...they should have filled those out. |

This figure is awesome and I wish I could have picked him up. Great review as well. I started laughing when I saw the picture of the original Repeater with the new one. It looked like "Bring your kid to work day" at Joe HQ.
