Yeah, that's right boys and girls, Hasbro has given us another Snake Eyes. What did you expect when one of the main characters for Retaliation is Snake Eyes himself. At least with the wave 2 Snake Eyes, we are getting a Movie accurate version of him. And believe or not I actually like this Snake Eyes.
Considering he comes with the Launching zip line, he still has decent accessories. We get two swords with painted handles, a sword sheath and backpack. The sheath can actually be attached to the backpack. Unfortunately, it only holds one of his swords. There's also a new machine gun, which could be new since I haven't seen it before. And, to round off the accessories we get a pistol and two knives that originally came with the Retaliation Joe Trooper from wave 1. Snake Eyes' belt can carry the pistol and one of the knives. Articulation is what we expect from our Ninja Commando. Rocker ankles and hinged hands which seems to be the norm with most of these figures. The details on this figure is just amazing. I wonder of Hasbro scanned the suit, like they do with actors/actresses head sculpts. Every little detail seen in the trailers and posters are on this figure. You gotta admit, these newer figures put the 25th figures to shame. Some have complained that Snake Eyes new mask looks more like a motorcycle helmet. Somethings just have to change for it work on the screen. I think they did a good job and it really shows on this figure. Yes, Hasbro has bombarded us with over thirty Snake Eyes since the 25th Anniversary. But if you skipped on the w1 Snake Eyes and want a real Movie accurate version that we'll see next month, I highly recommend on getting this one. Though I think it's most likely a lot of you will end up getting it. After going through this seven month drought.

Thanks for this. I had planned on passing on this one, but after seeing these pics, I think I'll pick it up.

Great figure, but unfortunately mine feels rubbery/cheap. Fortunately the other wave 2 figures I bought(Storm Shadow and Roadblock), don't feel like that.
I like the textures on this figure and the accessories aside the zipline are well done. |

I like the idea of the backpack/sheath combination. I'm really interested in seeing for myself how well that works.
