I agree, this guy wasn't different enough to warrant a repaint. The only reason I can justify seeing him made is to match the repaint Ripper, which I didn't want but some people seemed to. The thing I don't get, is now Buzzer doesn't match. Not that I want them to make ANOTHER Buzzer (destined to pegwarm) but the first Buzzer and first Ripper/Torch's pants matched close enough... Now this new "denim" blue stands out WAY too much from Buzzer.
As far as Monkeywrench, he's repaint central. ALL pre-existing Hasbro parts, All Hasbro parts. NO reason they can't make him. Easily. Hell, if I wanted to waste $20 for 2 bandanas, he'd be perfect. Falcon's neckerchief would work perfectly around his legs for the scarves, but I have spent enough money on Joes and customs to waste $20 to get 2 tiny scarves. (I used a ghetto method of hot glue and red paint to achieve a "decent?" effect). Torch body, Ripper lower arms, Duke left thigh, Roadblock feet, Mutt Williams vest, Mutt Williams shades and an Obi-Wan head. Add two Falcon bandanas and a bandoleer with 5 grenades (the ONLY new sculpt, but they could cheat by using V2 Snake Eyes' with 3) and voila. Repaint central. I love your custom monkeywrench |

Pegwarmer indeed, I just got finished Christmas decoration shopping and all the walmarts in my area had torch and resolute cobra commander (or broach wearing cc) still on the pegs. Resolute duke was at a couple too but I think he actually looks good!

You gave (a pretty good) Lift ticket a 3, yet this POS gets a 4???
No offense Eopie, usually you're reviews are gold, but the last couple are kinda off. |

Why is everyone so concerned about the pants having to match Buzzer? Ripper and Torch look the way they did in the toon, and that is the way they are supposed to look as far as I'm concerned. To me, the closer a character looks to the toon, the more accurate they are. Like General Hawk. It took three tries before they got the real one.

I'm disappointed there was no picture of the back of the vest; I still have no idea whether or not he's got any kind of graphic on the back.

I really dislike the Cobra insignias on the Dreadnoks. They aren't Cobras!
