I like him. He really is the saving grace of Wave 12. The rest are just cheap CHEAP (and bad) repaints, Hasbro.
I think 12 is the worst wave yet, by far. At least the Wave 4 repaint wave was of major characters that were on 25th single cards. These generally all suck. Also, the canister adds +2 to him, I think he'd only be a 6/10 without it. If only they could have made the other canister with someone new, not just the CP Tripwire reboxed. |

I love this guy. The torpedo mold is amazing, and the new head is great. He fits just right with eels and Baroness. 25th diver figures have been great so far. Bring on a night landing, hasbro!!

The filecard that came with Deep Six V2 said something along the lines of Cobra is always trying to come up with new underwater specialists.
That said, another Cobra Underwater specialist just seems redundant to me. |

I can't imagine why collectors want to "army build" for whatever vipers, troops, guards that hit retails. I just can't fathom how in the world do they make room for armies and similar multiple vehicles. Somebody got to have alot of space and alot of money to pull these tricks. Sure, cartoons show mutliples vehicles and troops but action figures? Why buy 20 divers, 15 Vipers, 30 Cobra Troopers, 10 Hiss Tanks, 12 Trouble Bubbles, 16 Stingers SUV? And then buy the G.I.Joes counterparts to match with Cobra's for a fullscale battle. Why? It's a waste of money and space, if you ask me.

I have to agree with Banshee as well and can't wait to get a hold of a few of these so I can pair them up with some eels and take on the Joes. Thanks for the review and the pictures!!

But we enjoy it, and sign on here to chat about it. So it's not any dumber than customizers or baseball collectors or what have you. It's a hobby. Now the rooms full of Cobra Troopers? 10+ of each, starts to get excessive if you ask me... But again, if you have the basement and a tolerant wife, then by all means, have at it. |
