Haha! I didn't notice the 3+ and 5+ difference.
Scoop: any link to that custom with Skystriker stickers? I'm considering it, but not sure if those colourful stickers will suit grey camo. Any toned down or low-viz stickers to suggest? And a sticker sheet with kill markings will definitely be most welcomed! |

Do you guys think that this new gray camo version would look with good with Skystriker stickers applied to it without any painting involved?

Hey guys.
I got the apoxie sanded just fine to cover all the gaps in the wing. Now it's strong enough to be held with just the wingtip. No paint yet. This one is getting primed grey then sprayed black again. It's going to be a Russian F-22 after the 2012 peace accords when the Martians attacked and the US sold the design to the rest of the worlds nations so the world could unite against a common foe... I have a set of red star decals ready to go on it... |

How did I miss this jet last year? It looks great without the kiddie features of the Thunderwing.

Okay.
I decided to give the F-22 Stealth cammo a go yesterday. It took about an hour and a half all in, including weathering. I masked the canopy and added "stealth" diamond shaped cutouts over all the screw holes, painted the plane primer grey, masked off the cammo and gave it light filter of matt black. After i removed the masking tape, i masked off the engines and the black squares underneath and gave it a solid coat of black. Then i simply got out the weathering pastels and went at the thing. I have added decadry film to a few choice panels just to make them look cool. I have yet to source decals. Here are the pics. |
