Snow Serpent is another one of the gems that makes up wave 9. We've seen the torso, upper arms and upper legs already with Arctic Snake-Eyes but I believe the mold was intended to be primarily used for Snow Serpent since the left arm has that raised flat area perfect for the Cobra sigil. The lower legs are new as are the lower arms with a cool fur sculpt. The fur around the neck and shoulders is a removable piece. The head is dead on accurate with blue tinted goggles glued on. It's unfortunate that the goggles don't move but it doesn't detract from this great figure. Not to be outdone by the figure sculpt, the weapons are wonderful updates of the originals. Instead of a belt like the original, this time it's been included as part of the removable straps that cover the torso. The missile can attach to the side of the backpack and the snow shoes have a hole in them that aligns with the extra set of holes in his feet to allow Snow Serpent to wear them while on the stand. Snow Serpent comes with a Rifle, Backpack, Missile with stand, Snowshoes and a Cobra Stand.
The Snow Serpent is a perfect upgrade of the original. There aren't really any new additions but it doesn't need them either. Figure Rating: 9 ½ out of 10 Pictures by Eopie Herder Last edited by Shogi; 08-31-2011 at 06:14 PM.. |

Excellent reeview,
I have passed up on about 7 of them this week alone as I think that more than 6 is enough. Funny thing is, they were no where to be spotted at the big 3 stores until this monday in my area of operation. On the other hand, I cannot find enough B.A.T.s, I have 7 of them, but I want more. |

I think the Snow Serpent needs one fix: The backpack peg. They bend way too much. I'm still buying more though....

This turned out to be my favorite from this wave, beating out the bat by a mile!

Contrary to my own expectations, I found the Snow Serpent way way better than the BAT once I got him in my hands.
His gun stock is a bit fragile though. All three of mine have nasty fatigue lines from were they pressed into the figure's side when they hold their gun properly. And has anyone tried getting the goggles loose? They really look like they were originally going to be movable.
