I stopped at Toys R Us today, and saw that they had the Mortal Kombat three pack. I was a little hesitant about getting these after all the horrible quality on the Street Fighter figures, that I've been reading about. I decided to get them at $19.99 and I'm quite happy with them. It's your typical 1/18th scale figure, coming in at 4" exactly. The plastic is sturdier and not as soft like the recent Joe figures. They have over 15 points of articulation, which makes martial art poses easy. I was surprised they can stand on one foot on their own without some sort of stand. No stands come with the figures and there's no holes on the bottom of the feet. The details and paint applications are way better than what I've seen on the Street Fighter figures. The only draw backs are the skirt hindereds full leg articulation which is similar to the Joe figures. Also, the shoulder pads and padding on the upper arms hinders full arm articulation. It would have been cool if they came with additional hands, since they are molded into a fist. Overall at $6.63 per figure I am not gonna complain. Now on to the pics...
