Not sure why I keep reading the missiles fall off too easy, because mine stay on pretty good and it rolls fine on a hard surface. Also, don't understand what the OP meant by the cockpit not being secure enough to the body of the plane, seems secure to me.

I am starting to regret ordering the Skystriker. The wheels have resistance?! I'm no six year old, but I buy toys to play with them and a jet that you can't land properly is dead to me. I hope I can grease those wheels a little when my box arrives... otherwise I should have bought an vintage and restored it. I hope I'm wrong about all this, but jwjiv has some valid crits. And it's criticism that informs a perspective buyer, not gushing praise.

Havent gotten my hands on a Striker yet, but I plan on fixing the missle issue like I have with some of the other vehicles they have come out with. I use some of that Blue Poster Tack stuff. I just take a small ball of it and put it on the end of the post so when you slide the missle/bomb slot around it, it holds it in place a little more firmly. No permanent material left on vehicle or accessory, and keeps them from falling off when the AC kicks on. Just my 2 cents.

I have ZERO problems with missiles falling off…simply put, they dont. Sorry to read so many people are having that issue.

Same here. I don't have any of those issues with mine either. The missiles on my 25th Conquest on the other hand...

Isn't it a reviewers job to convey their bias to the consumer sending signals on whether or not to buy said item?

There's inconsistency with everything coming from China because everything is out-sourced. Perhaps wherever the Skystriker is being made, it's not consistent. That's why some missiles stay on while others fall off.
And yes, I see this mold being changed because Hasbro will try to maximize this vehicle and use it over and over again. I'm pretty sure you'll see a two-seater WHITE sky-striker with vintage packaging ala how some Star Wars vehicles were released with the comic pack version of Ace. And then you'll see the Night Boomer. I'd actually love to see the sky-striker in rattler colors too. |

Did I miss the unbiased part?
Or is this still coming?
