I actually scored a vintage Rock Viper head off of eBay a couple of days ago. I'm in the process of dremmelling the helmet and going to place it on a head that may look acceptable. Hopefully it comes out right.

Broken Arrow is casting the parts I made/put together for my Rock Viper: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...-goodness.html
Setup should include the gun (based off his ARAH which pegs into the backpack and accepts a POC Lowlight scope which fits the holder on his left leg), ARAH style backpack, head w/ cobra symbol, web gear and belt (not pictured at that time). I believe the head and webgear are getting cast in the dark redish to match his arms/legs. Edit: Also if anybody doesn't like the bulgy-looking hinged wrists the POC Rock Viper comes with, Raginspoon casts the hands from the Tornado-kick SE that match the arms Hasbro used on the POC RV. I picked up a couple sets from him, they're cast in black, swap right in and look great on the RV.

The best weapon with this figure pack is the VSS (Vinovka Snaiperskaja Spetsialnaya) special sniper rifle. The pistol, the Sig Sauer P226. Excellent review of this figure. The helmet is too oily of a plastic, though. I placed a small silver Cobra emblem on the forehead of the helmet, but it tends to peel off. |
