I've only seen one Crazyleg's in the wild so far. Man it's hard to find Joe's in stores right now. Damn RoC! I passed on this one because of his legs. The puffy pants looked a little weird to me. The head doesnt bother me too much. Crazyleg's does have a great paint job though.

Great review, pice and an awesomebut yet simple idea for the head swap. I agree with your 7 out of 10. A better face mold and parachute would have made this an easy 9 if not a 10.

I saw this on the shelf over the weekend, and passed on it, once I saw the head - and immediately thought - If I do get this, it'll need a head swap
So wife goes shopping, I tell her - "If ya see Crazy Legs" pick him up for me. He's gone. Sad face.

Another great review, but the weapons might need better identification...(I believe that I can be of some help, if I may).
The primary weapon for Crazylegs is an H&K G36C assault rifle with some type of sight atop the rail, and a flashlight attachment at the side. (I have not determined the exact specifications of the weapon sight yet, and could use somebody's help on this) The only submachine gun with this action figure is the MP 40 with a folding stock. The pistol is the M-45 MEUSOC with Surefire weapon light (a.k.a. the MEU(SOC) pistol). |

I hated that time period when Hasbro created neon colored sci-fi looking guns for Battle Corps and other lines, which looked absolutely ridiculous. Unfortunately, Hasbro knows all to well what happened to Lanard Toys Incorporated over the sale of a replica toy Hummer (the CORPS! ATK car), from 2001-2005, when the mistake was made to mention General Motors product name on the toy packaging. Quite intelligently enough, Hasbro will not make that same mistake of naming a single weapon accessory, but will continue to keep pace with the weapons of today's world, as well as WWII era, Vietnam, science fiction, and even airsoft BB guns. Fortunately for us, we have websites like hisstank where we can share this information among collectors which can appreciate Hasbro's attention to detail, without implicating Hasbro in a lengthy lawsuit which slows or kills the toyline. |
