I think the idea is sound, but I wouldn't like them if they went whole-hog with the Sigma 6 art style. If they kept it a little reined in--say, more like The Corps!--then I'd be all for it. But, of course, if they're intended for kids, then my opinion doesn't matter as much. I'd rather have a full-on Sigma 6-style figure line for kids than no kid-friendly line at all.

I like the designs but they could use a bulk reduction. Once that was done however they'd basically be the Corps! new Recruits figures which i really like . I generally don't interact with 1/18th scale figures much anymore but recently i was messing around with my Lanard Jet fighter and was surprised at how solid and fun the figure that came with it was. If Sigma 6 were released in a 4'' format i believe others would have the same sense of tactile joy i experienced. |

Exactly. No Clone Wars extreme look.

Here is a cancelled example of 4" sigma 6 style
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ord-diver.html Yeah I guess the outfit on the figure resembles the costume design of Sigma 6, but that's not what I was refering to in this thread--rather, by Sigma-style design I was referring to the fundamental sculpt and build design of Sigma, which would be very different from the Modern Era design. Just to clarify. For example, you could have something like this, a Recondo figure based on the ARAH costume design, but using the Sigma sculpt/build style: EDIT: Okay I just HAD to share this Sigma Mr. T custom I stumbled across:

I would buy 4" figures with modern era proportions and articulation but in S6 style and colors w/accessories.

They look like Fisher-Price toddler toys.
https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...a283a4960b.jpg If I have another kid I'd get them. I'd never get them for my collection though. I wouldn't see and potential for parts to use for customs either. Last edited by Indiana Joe; 12-17-2016 at 01:40 PM.. |

They remind me of Mashers a bit, style-wise. So, no need. If Hasbro wants to release a more realistic-looking line using characters and designs from Sigma, I'm buying.
