A week ago I handled some of my old Sigma 6 figures. Parts still tight, figures still fun. Unique GIJOE figures with much playability and creativity. VERY sturdy. Lockers to store figures and/or their accessories. Modular accessories. Modular weapons even(if you count Duke and Flint's guns).
When Hasbro brought the 12" figures back for ROC, I felt it was a missed opportunity to bring back Sigma 6 instead. The movie designs aren't my favorite but I sure would've bought ROC S6 figures. So much potential. So much character. S6 Renegades would've been cool too. S6 is a line sorely missed by me. It was an eye opening line cut too short. With a new brand manager on board for GIJOE, there's many possibilities for the brand. With that in mind, do you think Hasbro should bring back Sigma 6 for 2016? |

I really loved the Sigma 6 iteration of GI Joe, but not from the beginning. The cartoon had horrible voice work, for my tastes, but was of high quality. I highly doubt S6 would be brought back, but considering that the Marvel and Transformers Mashers and newer DC Total Heroes figures seem to have a very similar design aesthetic to Sigma 6, I suppose it's within the realm of possibility.

As much as I appreciate Sigma 6 I say "no." Time for something new.

I only bought a few Sigma 6 toys, but I was impressed with just how high-quality they were, and how immensely playable. They were great, cool toys even if they weren't my preferred style of Joe. For a line that was kind of sprung on them unexpectedly (so to speak), Hasbro really went all-out and got creative with the design and (particularly) the accessories. Had I been a kid, I would have likely loved them to bits (but probably not literally, because those suckers were durable).
The designs also had a lot of personality. While I doubt we'll see Sigma 6 come back (though I voted "yes" for SHOULD come back), I think sooner or later we'll get G.I. Joe Mashers that will be a spiritual successor to them. And we may well get a 2.5 inch vehicle-driven line that does the same for the Sigma 6 Mission Series. I'd also note: Sigma 6 made Cobra Commander a badass before Resolute made Cobra Commander being a badass cool. Last edited by Jmacq1; 01-07-2015 at 08:52 AM.. |

I'd love new Sigma 6 figures.
The Adventure Team offerings were awesome. I'd also love a slightly scaled down offering so that vehicles could be more feasible. Perhaps an amalgam of Sigma 6 and Hero Mashers would be the way to go? |

I've taken a love for them. Great figs, just wished they'd done better at the time they were in stores.

I voted no. My son only ever got the Snake-Eyes/Storm-Shadow 2-pack with DVD, and, while they were cool, they just took up too much space to get any more.
4" Joes, or smaller (Kreo, Combat Heroes). I don't have the space for larger scales. Actually, it seems to me that we really need to get at least one more wave of Kreons. I need Buzzer, Cover Girl, Airtight, Barbecue, Dusty, Zap, Spirit, Rip Cord, Sea Adventurer, Iron Grenadiers, Annihilators, and HISS Drivers. |

I loved the Sigma6 8in toys- but 'No'
But if it was 'in addition' to a standard 4in figure then i wouldn't mind seeing them on the shelves- but i think a Masher style toy with swappable parts is more likely. |

I LOVED the design of Sigma 6, both the characters and especially the vehicles, but I'm a 4" inch collector, so while I'd love the design aspects of the series reintroduced in a 4" line, the 8" scale is better left in the dustbin of yester years.
