I didn't like any of the toys that came out where agent the 25th anniversary line came, there was still some sigma six figures still taking up space in the toy aisles

If you were not in your early childhood or in your nostalgic adolescence you would not know why these toys were so great. I was about 14-15 when these came out and I absolutely loved them. They were based on the cartoon that was out concurrrently. Yes, they were great, yes, I purchased most of the line for myself. To you they may not have been so great, but to me and my little sister, they were amazing toys. Of course, once 25th hit, I bought those too, being a joe fanatic, I just buy whatever has GI Joe stamped on the package. Sigma 6 was integral to my little sister's fanaticism of GI Joe as well. If ARAH inspired you (or whichever), Sigma 6 inspired me in the same way. It's the same way I view ARAH, How can someone LOVE SERPENTOR and hate RoC? Both can be seen as garbage to our parents, so why berate one more than the other? I love RoC, Retaliation, Sigma 6, and the Myriad of Joe junk from the 90's like fluorescent joes and Extreme GI Joe. All stuff that I grew up with.

i went to a toy isle once. all i saw was toy blocks with letters and numbers on them, but i was dreaming, wait i mean i was on acid.
so i bought a whole case of paper airplanes, the sucky thing was it was just a stack of paper and i had to make my own designs and fold them myself.

The only reason a lot of collectors hated S6 stuff is because when it first came out, they cancelled the 3 3/4" line and the 12" line for a short time. Had they continued those lines while introducing S6, most people wouldn't have cared much, regardless of whether they decided to collect them too or not (sort of like how the Kreo and mini Joes now coexist with the 4" ME line).
In hindsight though, it was after the hiatus that we got the 25th line, which was a HUGE improvement over the newsculpt line that existed before the line was cancelled. So maybe S6 did GI Joe a big favor? |

Ever own Lt. Stone? That figure will make all other action figures look inferior.
